Event scheduled from 27 to 30 May 2021 at Sydney International Regatta Centre

Rowing Australia (RA) today confirmed that the 2021 Australian Masters Rowing Championships will take place from 27 to 30 May 2021 at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith, New South Wales.

RA CEO, Ian Robson said that despite the challenges COVID-19 has presented to the organisation, he and the Board are looking forward to welcoming the country’s best Masters rowers to Western Sydney next month.

“We are pleased to be able to confirm that the 2021 Australian Masters Rowing Championships will take place in May at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.

“It was wonderful to be able to host the Aon Australian Rowing Championships in Tasmania last week and we’re excited, alongside Rowing NSW, to welcome our Masters rowers back for their first National competition in over a year.

“We know Rowing NSW are working to ensure this is the best possible event, with COVID-safety a key aspect of their planning to ensure all have a safe and enjoyable regatta. Entries are now open for the event. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Penrith in due course.”

Spectator numbers and safety measures for rowers, staff, coaches, officials and spectators will be determined by current NSW Health Department COVID-safe best practice in place at the time of the event.
