Rowing Australia (RA) confirms that following analysis of Thursday’s time trial results, data issues were identified with four events. These events are the Schoolgirl and Schoolboy Eights (SG8+, SB8+) and Schoolgirl and Schoolboy Quad Sculls (SG4x+, SB4x+).
Unfortunately, these impacted heats will need to be raced again on Friday (1 April) afternoon, at the time previously scheduled for these events’ repechages. The repechages and semi-finals will be held on Saturday.
This decision has been made in fairness to all crews. RA apologises for the inconvenience caused and thanks the rowing community for their understanding.
