About Andre, Khyati and George:

Be inspired by some local heroes who are making a big impact at #ARC23. These amazing volunteers are proving that age is just a number as they show Australia what true dedication and hard work looks like. Whether they’re cheering on the rowers or lending a hand wherever needed, these legends are making a huge contribution to the event.

It’s heart-warming to see the younger generation learning from the wisdom of their elders, and together they’re making a real difference. Rowing Australia would like to give a huge shout-out to all the volunteers, young and old, who are making this regatta a success. Your hard work and passion are truly appreciated and we couldn’t do it without you.

Why did you want to become a Coles Supermarkets Volunteer at #ARC23?

Not only are these volunteers dedicated to giving back to the sport they love, but they also bring a contagious energy to #ARC23. With their enthusiastic cheers and high-fives to passing rowers, they have become an essential part of the event. It’s hard not to smile when you see their passion and love for the sport and it’s a reminder that rowing is more than just a competition, it’s a community.

As the day wears on and the sun beats down, these volunteers show no signs of slowing down. They have formed a bond with each other and the rowing community. Their passion and commitment are truly inspiring, and they are a testament to the power of volunteering.

For all three of these guys, “giving back is our main motivation”. The sport has already given them so much, so what better opportunity than #ARC23 to give back? Being from WA, you already know who they’re cheered for today!
